Dr. Setzen and his team are amazing ! I could not thank them enough. I wish I knew about Dr. Setzen sooner. During the first visit, I was amazed that they were able to take a CT scan of the sinuses right then and there. I went to see him, because I was having recurrent sinus infections. I needed major sinus surgery and the results have been great ! Dr. Setzen and Moya called to check in to see how I was doing often after surgery- which I found to be very nice. Many doctors do not follow up with their patients often. Although the follow up visits are important and necessary after surgery, Dr. Setzen was gentle while he had to take care of a sensitive area. Moya was amazing and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. Will not go to any other ENT other than Dr. Setzen.

I only wish I had come across Dr. Setzen earlier. He noted that I had a deviated septum but did not recommend the large surgery, but a procedure called Vivaer. It was a simple in office procedure that made a huge difference in my breathing. Recovery was as described by Dr. Setzen, I'm breathing better than I have all my adult life. Dr. Setzen is a warm caring doctor, and can't forget Moya, his receptionist. Thank you both for a great experience.

I originally went to Dr. Setzen for a reoccurring ear infection which under Dr. Setzen’s care, has never again reoccurred. Having lived with an extremely uncomfortable deviated septum my entire adult life, Dr. Setzen recommended VivAer, a pain-free, non-invasive, in-office procedure, which offers relief from nasal airway obstruction. Once again, Dr. Setzen has given me relief from constant discomfort & the gift of a better quality of life. Dr. Setzen is a genuinely kind-hearted, gracious, compassionate man & an extraordinary doctor, beyond compare. He has my everlasting gratitude & my deepest respect.

I have a rare autoimmune disease which has done significant damage to my septum, and causes me problems with my sinuses, throat, and airway. Dr. Setzen has been the only doctor that has been able to give me relief. His vast knowledge, his skill in treating difficult cases and his wonderful bedside manner is what I had been looking for years. I’m so thankful to have found Dr Setzen and his wonderful staff.

One of a kind physician. The best kind! The night before my surgery (septoplasty, turbinate, rhinoplasty), I had a family emergency and considered postponing. I called Dr. Setzen and his warmth and concern were overwhelming. He told me not to worry and that whatever decision was best for the family was good with him. The next morning when I told him I was going to go ahead with it, he reiterated that I could cancel if it didn’t feel the timing wasn’t right. What doctor does that? I had the surgery, and in the weeks following, he continued to check in on my family. I can never thank him enough for his care and compassion. My surgical experience is just as impressive. It was easy, smooth, and with his expertise and skill, I had no pain, and a quick recovery. I never needed a painkiller! I can breathe like I've never breathed in my life. I'm so happy with my nose. It fits my face perfectly! So, to recap, Dr. Setzen is compassionate, caring, and one of the best surgeons around. Shout out to Moya who took amazing care of me too!

Updated Review for Rhinoplasty: I would highly recommend Dr. Setzen to anyone looking to undergo a rhinoplasty procedure. He made me feel reassured and confident during the entire process. I discussed what I liked about my nose and he truly exceeded all expectations. The recovery process was a breeze- no pain at all and barely any bruising or swelling. He was constantly checking in to see how my recovery was going, and answered any questions I had along the way. Choosing Dr. Setzen as my surgeon was the best decision I could have possibly made! Dr. Setzen is without a doubt one of the most impressive doctors I have ever met. I have had brain fog, fatigue, facial pain/pressure, runny nose and nasal congestion for years. I have visited several specialists, received a brain MRI and had even tried prescription medication, all without a proper diagnoses. Doctor's told me it was normal and to just give it time, or to work on managing anxiety. No one was able to help me. I went to Dr. Setzen and he immediately was able to pinpoint the exact problem as well as the long-term solution. He was extremely thorough and was able to explain things in a way that I could understand easily. He performed septoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, turbinate reduction, eustachian tube ballooning, and balloon sinuplasty a couple weeks after our initial visit. He answered all of my post-op questions whenever I called the office. His bedside manner is unmatchable. Additionally, Dr. Setzen placed tubes in my son's ears as well as removed his adenoids. Again, any specialist we took my son to could not offer any help as to why my son was getting ear + sinus infections one right after the other. He was exceptional with my son and was the only surgeon that came into the waiting room several times to reassure us that the procedure was successful. The Audiologist (Marcia) and Office Manager (Moya) are also absolutely incredible. Dr. Setzen and his team genuinely care about improving he lives of their patients. Thank you to the entire team for all that you do!

I underwent Septoplasty by Dr. Setzen a month and a half ago , and it was a life changing procedure for me. Both sleep quality and overall mental acuity/ energy increased tremendously because I no longer had to subconsciously focus on my breathing , nor did it get in the way of my sleep. Quick and easy recovery , taste and smells are as vibrant as ever. Definitely recommend.

Moja greets me in a kind and efficient manner.Dr. Setzen is a true and rare example of a caring and proactive physician. He listens intently to me and addresses my clinical concerns in an astute and caring manner.It is comforting to know that his heartfelt interest is in providing optimal care to both myself and my son,David, who is Dr. Setzen's patient as well.I highly recommend Dr. Setzen for superlative otolaryngology issues.

I had breathing problems for years from a completely deviated septum in my right nostril. I met with Dr. Setzen who was amazing and walked me through all my options. He performed a Rhinoplasty, Septoplasty endoscopic sinus surgery on me. I could not be happier with the results. My nose looks great, I can finally breathe again, and I'm sleeping better. I would highly recommend Dr. Setzen for anyone looking for skilled ENT.
