Nasal Polyps 10 Years After Surgery Dr. Setzen operated on me for nasal polyps. It has been 10 years without a recurrence due to the skill of Dr. Setzen. He is a thorough, highly proficient surgeon who has monitored me quarterly since my surgery to prevent any recurrence.

Great Result Dr. Setzen corrected my deviated septum. Prior to surgery he discussed the possible outcomes, possible difficulties etc. The outcomes achieved were the best possible. My breathing is better, and the correction has helped the effectiveness of the CPAP machine I am using for my sleep apnea. Moreover, both Dr. Setzen and his staff were most helpful, responsive and supportive throughout the process and follow up.

Sinus Surgery I have been constantly sick with head and chest colds for the last 20 years. My treatment always focused on my lungs and potential allergies. Dr. Setzen did a CAT scan of my sinuses and diagnosed a double deviated septum and clogged sinuses. We scheduled surgery but I was concerned that I have Factor XI blood deficiency which is a clotting issue. In conjunction with a hematologist Dr. Setzen performed the surgery without the need for a prophylactic transfusion (which I was trying to avoid). There was no bleeding issues during or after surgery and I am thrilled with the results. Definitely recommend Dr. Setzen.

Best Doctor Ever!! Dr. Setzen has been caring for me and my family for about 20 years. He is an extraordinarily skilled surgeon. Among other sinus related surgeries, Dr. Setzen reconstructed my nose after a bad skiing accident. His care of the tissue and surrounding area during the surgery left me with very little bruising and swelling. The recovery was a breeze. He also placed ear tubes in my toddler - twice!! Most importantly, after being caught in the collapse of the twin towers, Dr. Setzen organized a team of physicians to administer my care. He is one in a million, and I am so grateful to be under his care.

Deviated Septum I first saw Dr. Setzen regarding my deviated septum approximately 4 years ago. After my first consultation, I was very skeptical and decided to put off the surgery. It came to a point where I was unable to sleep at night because of severe breathing problems I was having through my nose. I decided to move forward with the procedure. I am happy to report that this surgery has changed my life. I no longer have trouble sleeping at night, have a much easier time exercising on the treadmill, and I no longer get headaches. I would highly recommend Dr. Setzen and his staff to complete this procedure for you if you suffer from the same symptoms that I did.

Surgery When Dr. Setzen told me about the surgery he recommended I have, I was not very comfortable with it. He assured me it was a process, but now I no longer sleep with an apnea machine, and I am able to drive without nearly falling asleep behind the wheel! It was a painful process, but worth it beyond my imagination. I can't thank him enough for what he has done for my life!
